Bespoke carpet manufacturer Dolce Vita plans to set up a carpet production plant based on carpet weaving automation in Izmir, according to Metin Taskiran, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dolce Vita Hali. The investment will amount to around EUR 1m in the first stage and reach nearly EUR 2.5m with the completion of the facility investment. The company plans to launch the first stage of the new facility in May. “Dolce Vita has delivered all its R&D studies to the people it worked with in contract manufacturing. That’s why we decided to establish a new facility to prevent this,” Taskiran said. Dolce Vita has nearly 200 branches and four stores serving the high income consumer group in the country and around the world.
