Chinese smart phone manufacturer Oppo has begun test production at its Tuzla plant, which is currently under construction. Industry and Technology Minister Mustafa Varank paid an on-site visit to examine the set up activities and test production. Nearly 1,000 people are expected to be employed in the facility when it begins manufacturing at full capacity, according to Varank. ‘Made in Turkey’labeled Oppo mobiles will hit the shelves soon, said the minister. The Surface Mount Technology production line and all systems are expected to installed in about three months. Weijian Zhou, General Manager of Oppo Turkey, Lianbing Zhu, Top Executive of the Facility, and Deniz Erkmen, Director of Public Relations of Oppo Turkey accompanied Minister Varank during his facility visit.
