The Chinese state-owned automobile manufacturer Chery plans to penetrate the Turkish market in the last quarter (Q4) of the year, according to a statement from the company.
The firm plans to enter the Turkish market with three SUV models in three different segments – the Omoda 5, SUV Tiggo 7, and SUV Tiggo 8.
Sales of these models will begin in Q4 2022. The work for automobiles’ homologation applications, dealership, and after-sales organization will be completed by Q4.
Chery, which focuses its R&D studies on core technologies, has 20,794 patent applications in total. The company has obtained 13,153 patents to date.
