The capacity utilization rate (CUR) in the manufacturing sector stands at 75.9% in April, according to the Central Bank (CBRT) data.
The CUR in the manufacturing industry increased by 1.2 points to 75.9 in April, compared to the previous month, the CBRT announced. CUR stood at 74.7% in March.
On the other hand, the seasonally adjusted capacity utilization rate (CUR-SA) in the manufacturing sector increased by 0.6 points to 76.2% in the same period, the official data showed.
CUR figures are evaluated by aggregating responses of some 1,745 companies operating in the manufacturing industry to the Central Bank’s Economic Tendency Survey, according to the Bank’s statement.
