Burcu Senel has been appointed CEO of HSBC New Zealand. Senel has 18 years of experience in the banking sector. Starting her professional career as Senior Analyst at JP
Morgan Chase, Senel joined the HSBC Turkey Family in 2005. She has played various high-level roles in corporate and investment banking, working as Head of Business Development at HSBC UK between 2016 and 2018 and Head of Global Trade and Receivables Finance, and Global Head of Foreign Trade Sustainability Unit between 2018-2021. After graduating from Bogazici University’s Department of International Trade, Senel completed her master’s degree in Corporate Finance and Investment Banking at Virginia Tech University.
