BIM Birlesik Magazacilik AS and A101 represented Turkey in the ‘Global Powers of Retailing 2021’ report prepared by Deloitte, in which the world’s 250 largest retailers were listed. BIM ranked 152nd, rising five places on the list. The company increased its revenue from USD 6.6bn to nearly USD 7bn, growing by 22.7% from 2014-2019. A101, meanwhile, was ranked 244th in the list with revenues of USD 4.1bn. The company grew by 35% from 2014-2019. Both BIM and A101 also ranked in the top 50 for highest compound annual growth rate (CAGR). The top 250 global retailers, which averaged 4.4% CAGR, generated of USD 4.8tr in the 2019 fiscal year ending on June 30, 2020.
