Corporate Knights, a media, research and financial information products company, has released its 17th Global 100 Index, a ranking of the world’s top companies in terms of sustainability. Home appliances manufacturer Arcelik ranked 34th out of 8,080 companies that were evaluated, with a combined revenue of over USD 1bn. It is the first time a Turkish company has made it onto the Index. Schneider Electric SE, a European multinational, was named the most sustainable company in the world.
