With a capacity of 558 rooms and 1,188 beds, Anda Barut Collection has created 850 jobs at the first stage.
“Our employment will increase further this year. We also built a luxury lodgment consisting of 300 rooms for our employees. We place a particular emphasis on qualified education for the development of tourism. We have been training our personnel for eight months,” Karacan noted.
The facility’s occupancy rate will hover around 65-70% this year. Foreigners will account for 80% of total guests, while the remainder will be locals.
“We receive a high demand from the UK, Germany, Poland and Russia, respectively. We have focused on Switzerland. We also have an eye for overland tourists visiting Turkey from Romania,” he said, adding that the region has also started to attract Chinese tourists.
“We conduct an R&D study for that. We plan to focus on the Chinese market in the upcoming period.”
Anda Barut Collection, which will operate for 12 months a year, has also started to receive demand from companies and universities for congress tourism, as it incorporates one of the top three biggest meeting halls in the Aegean region.
