Albayraklar Holding expects USD 1bn sales of its 100% locally-produced remote controlled electroshock weapon Wattozz even if the current demand is met, according to Adnan Albayrak, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Albayraklar Holding. The company has received nearly one million orders from domestic and foreign markets after the weapon’s launch. “Wattozz won the most important awards granted in the defense industry in many countries, notably the U.S. and the UK. Especially the U.S. and the UK don’t grant many awards to projects carried out in other countries,” said Albayrak. R&D and improvement studies continue on the weapon. “We made major modifications in the weapon’s electronical and mechanical parts,” said Albayrak. Wattozz is legal for civilian use in 17 countries.
