Air conditioner and boiler manufacturer Alarko Carrier increased its turnover by 68% to over TRY 222m in the first quarter of 2021 compared to the same period of the previous year, according to its General Manager, Cem Akan. The company also sells personal air conditioners from Carrier and Toshiba. Alarko Carrier’s total assets reached TRY 451.3m in this period. “We won’t compromise on profitability, liquidity and operational efficiency in reaching our year-end targets,” said Akan. Alarko Carrier’s sales increased by 35% to TRY 790m while its net profit rose by 277% to around TRY 62m in 2020, compared to 2019. The company’s export share in turnover reached 17% in this period. “We export to 65 countries from Australia to Germany, as well as Middle Eastern and African countries,” Akan noted.
