Akkok Holding has signed a purchase agreement to acquire a 51% share in composite parts manufacturing company Epsilon Kompozit, according to a statement from the company. 51% of Epsilon’s shares will be taken over by Akkok Holding and its main partners ARD Holding and NDC Holding following the approval of the Competition Authority. “Our goal is international leadership in the sector with Epsilon Kompozit, manufacturing and exporting composite parts for various sectors in heavy industry, notably aviation,” said Ahmet Cemal Dorduncu, Member of the Board of Directors and CEO of Akkok Holding. The new investment makes composites one of the main business lines of the holding. Akkok Holding and its subsidiaries started 2021 with acquisitions. In addition to Epsilon, the holding’s subsidiary, Akkim, acquired the cellulose producer USK Kimya for USD 63m.
