Turkey’s automotive exports reached an all time high in the first 11 months of the year, surpassing the full year record set in 2024, industry data showed.
According to the Uludağ Automotive Industry Exporters’ Association, exports were up 12.3% from a year earlier January – November to $37.8 billion, exceeding last year’s record of $37.2 billion.
The automotive sector remained Turkey’s largest export industry, accounting for 15.3% of total exports, with shipments to more than 200 countries and free zones.
By sub sector, automotive parts exports climbed to $14.4 billion, while passenger car exports rose to $11.7 billion. Exports of commercial vehicles, including light trucks and vans, jumped about 30% to $6.5 billion, extending previous records.
Germany remained Turkey’s top automotive export market, with shipments rising 39% to $6.1 billion, followed by France $4.4 billion and the UK $3.9 billion.
