The airport operator TAV Airports made a net profit of EUR 62m in the first quarter of this year, according to the company’s financial statement. The company also reached a turnover of EUR 60.6m in this period. The number of international passengers of TAV Airports totaled 4.3 million people as a result of flight restrictions stemming from the pandemic. “Passenger traffic continued to be affected by the pandemic-driven flight restrictions in the first quarter of 2021,” said Sani Sener, CEO of TAV Airports. Meanwhile, the company’s monthly expenditures were reduced by 4% to EUR 21.4m in Q1, compared to the last quarter of 2020.
