A 32-item legislative proposal on amending the Law for the Encouragement of Tourism has been submitted to the Parliament. The 20% limit on employment of foreign workers in hotels and other tourism facilities has been removed while beaches with no accommodation facilities are requireed to obtain a tourism operation license. The proposal paves the way for establishment of luxury glamping tent enterprises and allows for the operation of foreign yachts larger than 39 meters on condition that they pay a participation Removing this limit on employment of foreign workers, The proposal will allow businesses with tourism operation certificates to employ foreign workers as needed on condition that they obtain permission from the Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Services.
BEACHES TO GET REQUIRE OPERATION LICENSCE
Independent beach enterprises which do not have accommodation services are required to obtain a tourism operation license within a week after they receive a business license and work permitthird . Those that do not obtain a license within a month will not be able to operate and their business licenses and work permits will be revoked.
Moreover, in case accommodation facilities located in tourism centers and Cultural and Tourism Preservation and Development Regions increase their capacities by changing the type or usage of their facilities, a participation share will be required from investors for social and technical infrastructure servicesand .
In another provision, five-star hotels and resorts will be allowed to offer transfer services to customers. However, this service will not be offered to customers coming through travel agencies.
Luxury tent facilities will get approval The establishment of luxury glamping tent facilities in the Cultural and Tourism Preservation and Development Regions and tourism centers will also be enabled by the proposal. In this context, these places can be rented in order to build temporary luxury glamping tent facilities providing advanced services at well-equipped luxury tents. These facilities can obtain a business license and work permit within 15 days without the need for another procedure after they obtain a tourism operation license from the Ministry.
With a paragraph added to Article 8, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism can provide immovable allocation to investors in order to build marinas in the Cultural and Tourism Preservation and Development Regions and tourism centers, approved by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure.
