Four Turkish defense companies were included in the world’s top 100 defense firms list published by US-based Defense News. The data is solicited from company reports, sector analysts, the International Institute for Strategic Studies, and SPADE Indexes.
Aselsan was at 47th place in the annual ranking, up from 49th last year.
Turkish Aerospace Industry (TAI) was at 58th up from 67.
The missile producer Roketsan climbed 6 ranks up to 80th.
The Military Factory and Shipyard Management Inc (Asfat) also entered the list for the first time as the 100th biggest defense firm.
Aselsan’s defense revenues totaled USD 2 billion in 2022, while TAI’s revenues amounted to USD 1.48 billion, Roketsan’s USD 873.3 million, and Asfat’s USD 443.5 million.
